Do you ever realise we live because of papers?

We study from primary untill secondary school because of a paper
and then we come out from school with the paper
and proceed to study in college or university for paper again
when we step out to society,we need paper to get a job
and then life goes on with working because of paper

People will argue because of paper
Crime will happen because of paper
People will commit suicide because of paper
Majority of people work hard for paper and end up did not enjoy their life
Miserable huh!?

We started our life with paper and I'm sure that we will continue my life with paper
but all my friend,just don't forget to enjoy your life while chasing for papers,ok?

才刚开学一个星期多
我就累了 累了

但是 路还很长

Chef Soon asked me and Roy to bake two types of cookies...
hmmm...two types of cookies huh!?
First,I don't have enough ingredients and also time...
I usually use long time to bake cakes or cookiesXP
I don't wanna do Chocolatechips cookies again because I don't have chocolatechips already
So I decided to make Holladais coookies

While measuring the ingredients,I found out that I don't have enough flour.
Therefore I cut down the measurement of flour
All ingredients were measured with half of the amount EXCEPT water and egg.
First,I made the butter cookies first
I did not realise that until when I put in all the ingredients,I found out that the mixture does not looks like cookies but cake.
Jerrr...why I so careless
That day in class Chef Joyce just said that all the ingredients must be measure correctly,one thing wrong then something with wrong with the product.
Anyway,I just add in the rest of flour I got and other dry ingredients to rescue the mixture.
And then,AGAIN
half way pouring the water into the cocoa cookies,I realise I haven't cut down this measurement also...

Fine fine...haiz

Then the time I want to shape the dough which placed in the fridge for around an hour,the dough its too soft.
I cannot mould the shape from the book.
So in the end,it turns up many kind of funny shape.
Oh ya~part of it its my lovely brother creation.

p/s:my mum said the cookies taste good because not very sweet...wah...first time XP

After lunch,my mum suddenly asked me to bake Butter Cake for tomorrow.

I baked Butter Cake a lot of times until my fingers including my toe also not enough to count.

A big NO,I prefer to try something new.

So I open the book I borrowed from my chef,Oven Magic.

I found WEEKED CITRON

All the ingredient is quite simple and I have it all besides jam thingy.

I felt that it still a nice cake without that so I decided to make this lemon cake.

The methods are quite complicated anyway.

After I put the cake into oven then I read back the methods only I realised that I did not cook the butter until brown.XP

First time so I forgive you,blue fish.

At first I don't think of put the icing on top of the cake but it don't have lemon flavour at all><

When I read the ingredients of icing, "lan mu jiu"(the book is in chinese).

I was wondering what kind of liquor is this?!!??

Is it RUM???

Then I suddenly think of my mum always drink "lum jiu"(in hokkien).

LAN MU JIU....LAM JIU....lan mu jiu...lam jiu

Ehhh???!!Don't you think they sound very similiar??lolz

I took out the botol of liquor from cabinet and sought for the word RUM but I can't find any RUM word on it.

Who cares!???Just use it,since I got this liquorXP

Lemon cake coated with icing.

The icing colour suppose to be whiter as I saw in the book,mine nearly transparent already.

Anyway,the cake became GORGEOUS with the icing.

It have the taste of lemon and also "lan mu jiu"!!!

YES!!Success~

When you miss someone and you hear happy song,it just tortures you.

Yesterday suppose to be the day i remove my braces but

BUT when i asked the dentist how come he did not do something to my teeth at the back!!!??

He said he tried before but cannot and now again he intended to try=.=

I felt like he trying to earn money because I'm wondering why before that he don't want to try???

And now everytime I go there,I need to pay RM100 because I already finished the actual amount of wearing braces><

HE put something on my tooth for some purpose

and the WORST part is I cannot chew anything for more than one month!!!=.=

I'm spending money to torture myself.

I drank Starbuck Hot Chocolate for lunch and ate KFC LARGE mashed potato yesterday for my dinner.

Today,my mum cooked fish porridge for me and dinner I cooked scrambled egg.

"scrambled" egg with ketchup.I just swallow it...lolz

Then I was thinking for my breakfast after I ate dinner

so I read my books see got what I can eat

I found Brownies and I baked it

Its SIMPLE, only few steps but the final results is not really good.

I got the point Julie Powell wrote in JULIE & JULIA--"simple" is not exactly the same as "easy"

Anyway I got my breakfast for tomorrow and I will learn from mistake.

p/s:better go to bed now,if not later hungry XP

8th August 2009 was the most unbelievable day I ever had

my team(bowie,yi chien and me) won 2nd Runner Up in UPM Food Fair Culinary

AHHHHH~~~~~

I still remember when the MC said the winner of 2nd Runner Up is GROUP 4(which is my group),I'm still wondering GROUP 4 is from which college.

I heard a lot of people shouting(all my supporter which is my chefs and seniors)

I glanced to the display table and saw my durian pancake and the stand written there GROUP 4.

AWWWW~ITS MY GROUP

Not only me slow a tempo, yi chien and bowie were the same.LOLz

At that time,I felt like wanna SCREAM!!!

Omg~I can't believe it!!!

My crystal trophy~I got a certificate and also small amount of money!We got a lots of souvenier too(all sponser by ajinomoto)

Deng Deng Deng~~This was our group work...I'm in charge of dessert plate...This picture not really nice because some of the garnishes missing already.The black black thingy like simen is Black Sesame Gelato,Baked Tapioca Cake,Durian Pancake and Osmanthus Jelly.

That moment is so unforgettable

I'm still in the happiness of winning the competition.
